Outdoor activities

On the edge of the Aiguebelette lake, the smallest of the lakes of Savoie, and nestling at the foot of the Épine mountain, Camping Les Peupliers is the ideal starting point for activities in nature. The reception offers leaflets on the region. The green and mountainous area is scattered with a great number of hiking tracks. You can swim at the lake. The Aiguebelette lake is one of the warmest lakes of France; the water can get up to 28°C in summer. You can also practise various watersports (rental 2.5km from the campsite). However, thermal motor boating is prohibited. A network of 150 km of signposted tracks will allow you to cycle around and discover the area.  

Activities on site

Children can have fun and make new friends at the play area. In high season, from mid-July to mid-August,a few occasional nights are organised on site. During the day, you can gather at the boules track, the table tennis tables or the volleyball field.
